Vanessa’s Faves: Ruth & Flo

I have several products and boutiques that I absolutely love. What’s even better is that they are small businesses owned by women. My goal is to partner with as many women entrepreneurs as possible. Supporting local businesses has become a passion of mine and it’s a bonus when they are run by women. Since becoming a female entrepreneur 4 years ago, I know now that I was designed for this. I partner with others so I can learn from them and cheer them on in their journey. I’ve learned we rise by lifting others.

My first spotlight in what I’m calling my “FAVES” is the boutique named Ruth & Flo which is owned by my friend Becky Janes. She lives in Gallatin, TN, and owns Ruth & Flo (named after her grandmothers.) The minute you walk into her store you feel the hospitality and warmth that she exudes. All of her products are made with the highest quality ingredients and of course love. As you leave, you will pick out a prayer card to take along with you on your journey. Every visit I made to Gallatin included a trip to Ruth & Flo.  

My favorite products are the tallow Chapstick and her bath and body oil. (Both are a must-have for me.) For those of us in Menopause, our skin becomes very dry and itchy. In the past, I tried using whatever cheap lotion I could find although it perpetuated the dry skin vs alleviating it. Since I found Becky and her amazing bath and body oil, I haven’t even thought about using lotion. She has several scents and I like all of them. However, my favorite is Cashmere.
