Boss Your Thoughts

I got my “feelings” hurt today and I found myself going down the old familiar path of dwelling on the negativity and then sifting through the emotional garbage. I used to get stuck here for days, or weeks, sometimes even months!  I decided to Boss My Thoughts and find something to be grateful for even if my mind preferred licking my wounds. A few moments with my vision board and my goals reminded me of who I am and how much I have to be thankful.

God has put a huge desire in my heart. I have to regularly practice placing my focus on my faith, His promises and believing who He says I am. So what do you do after “bossing your thoughts”? You redirect that energy by making a deposit into someone else. Find someone to encourage. This is one of the best ways to stop thinking about yourself.

When you start living your daily life in a way that represents your most authentic self, some people will consider you to be “too much!” This says way more about them than you. Do NOT shrink back or overthink. Keep walking out your authenticity, love people where they are, take a moment to feel your feelings and then Boss Your Thoughts!
